Owner of Tahoma Specialty Pest Services

Tahoma Specialty Pest Services was built on the idea that pest control should be intentional, precise, and personal — not generic.

The pest control industry is crowded with large, volume-driven companies operating on standardized routes and scripted service models. While that structure works for some businesses, it often leaves little room for individualized attention.

As an independent operation, Tahoma Specialty Pest Services is able to fine-tune each service to the specific needs of the property. No two homes are identical. No two commercial properties operate the same way. Your service shouldn’t be either.

We believe in:

  • Careful inspection before treatment
  • Targeted applications instead of blanket overuse
  • Clear communication about what is being done and why
  • Long-term prevention over quick, temporary fixes

Because we are locally owned and operated, decisions are made here — not in a corporate office hundreds of miles away. Our approach is measured, practical, and built around what actually works for the customer.

Small family businesses are the backbone of strong communities. They create real value, real relationships, and real accountability. That philosophy guides everything we do.

Meet the Owner

I entered the pest control industry in 2007 and founded Tahoma Specialty Pest Services in 2017.

After a decade in the field, I came to an important realization: I wasn’t just performing a service — I was the product. My knowledge, my time, and my standards were what customers were ultimately paying for.

Starting my own company wasn’t about doing “more of the same.” It was about doing it better.

Large companies often operate on a one-size-fits-all model. Schedules are tight. Services are standardized. Interactions can feel rushed. As an independent operator, I have the freedom to individualize each service, adapt to each property, and communicate directly with every client.

That means:

  • No rotating technicians
  • No scripted conversations
  • No generic treatments

Just thoughtful, professional service built around your specific situation.

Pest control isn’t about spraying and leaving. It’s about understanding how structures function, how pests behave, and how to prevent problems long term.

When you hire Tahoma Specialty Pest Services, you’re not hiring a call center or a corporate system. You’re hiring someone who takes pride in the work and stands behind it.

Thank you for choosing Tahoma Specialty Pest Services. I look forward to earning your trust.

How we approach pest control

We don’t believe in scare tactics, overselling, or one-size-fits-all solutions. Every situation is different, so our approach starts with understanding what you’re seeing, where it’s happening, and what conditions may be contributing to the problem.

From there, we recommend treatment options that make sense for your specific situation and explain what to expect.
